I don’t know about you but I’m mostly a creature of habit when it comes to my beauty routines and products. It took me a long time to figure out what products work for my skin and hair and what doesn’t so I’m not often willing to try new things–particularly for skincare. But I recently found a few new products that I absolutely love, so I wanted to share them with you!
First, skincare. When I shared my skincare routine I was alternating between two different cleansers that I use to wash my face in the shower every morning. Recently I’ve been on a bit of a Kiehl’s kick–I love their eye cream and hand cream–so I decided that when my cleanser ran out I’d try theirs. I grabbed the Ultra Facial Cleanser at Sephora and OMG it’s so good. It hits all of the same boxes that my other two cleansers do, but it also feels like it makes my face even cleaner. I don’t really know how to describe that feeling but hopefully you know what I mean. As a bonus it’s super affordable–only $20 (which is a steal for skincare products)!
The second thing I’ve been loving I also found through Sephora. When I was shopping to replenish my facial moisturizer I ended up getting a few samples thrown into my bag and I fell in love with one of them. I got a deluxe sample of the MILK Makeup KUSH High Volume Mascara and it was so amazing that when the sample ran out I bought the full size version. (It may not seem like a big deal but it really is because I’ve been using the same two mascara brands for like four years.) This mascara is made with cannabis seed oil that conditions your eyelashes to make them look fuller and (here’s the real kicker) protects them from breaking when you remove your mascara at night! Ever since I started using mascara I feel like my eyelashes have gotten more delicate–which seems like a ploy to help sell more mascara. But this one actually does help my eyelashes stay strong and not look so short and thin even when I’m not wearing mascara. Plus it looks amazing on. It really is volumizing.
Have you recently found any new products that you’re loving? I want to know if I should try them too!
xoxo,
J
