I’m really chugging along towards my reach goal of…120 books this year! If you don’t want to do the math that brings it to an average of ten books a month. And I did successfully read ten books in January! Sometimes February is where my goals start to flounder or just slow down but not so with the reading this year.
This month I read:
11. Exit West – Moshin Hamid
12. The Office of Historical Corrections – Danielle Evans
13. The Death of Vivek Oji – Akwaeke Emezi
14. Honey Girl – Morgan Rogers
15. The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants – Ann Brashares
16. The Whole Thing Together – Ann Brashares
17. Undercover Bromance – Lyssa Kay Adams
18. Girl A – Abigail Dean
19. Evvie Drake Starts Over – Linda Holmes
I loved the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants series when I was younger so when the book popped up in the Libby recommendations for Galentine’s Day obviously I had to re-read it. And then I obviously had to put the second book on hold, so get ready to see the entire series on this year’s book list.
I’m also slowly plodding my way through some non-fiction books. Disclaimer: when I say “slowly plodding” it is NOT because the books aren’t good. In fact, they’re blowing my mind a little. But I read non-fiction so much slower these days. I blame the years of reading legal textbooks super fast. Now my brain needs a bit more time to process so I tend to read those a chapter at a time and read fiction in between.
What are you reading? Drop the titles in the comments!
xoxo,
J
