I’ve been focusing recently on rituals. And I know I’ve mentioned my morning coffee ritual before, but I wanted to take this post to dive a little bit deeper into what I’ve actually been adding into my coffee for these rituals. No, this isn’t about creamer. This is about mushrooms.
At the end of last year I found Hearthstone Collective–a company that makes mushroom tinctures that focus on improving brain function, gut health, and hormone balance. I was instantly intrigued. I love mushrooms. They’re delicious and have so many hidden talents and I also think they’re strangely beautiful. So of course I ordered these mushroom drops so I could give them a try.
Reader, I love them.
Now every weekday morning I pour my cup of coffee, take it over to the counter with my ~natural supplement cupboard~ and begin my ritual of adding these mushroom drops to my cup. I fill the little dropper and swirl it into the top of the coffee. It’s not a long ritual, but it’s a small act that centers me before I start my day.
Now for the lineup:
Mushroom Immunity. This tincture helps with immune defense, gut health, energy, and physical resilience. I’m extra sure to take this one when the weather is gross or when it goes through dramatic changes (like it has recently).
Desire. This blend helps balance hormones and awaken desire and passion.
Mushroom Nootropic. This one improves brain and nervous system health, and helps with mental clarity and work flow focus. (There’s a reason why I take this in the morning to kick start my day for sure.)
I love these drops and this company so much that I reached out and asked to become an ambassador (and they agreed)! So if you want to try any of these out–and you should–you can use the code JOSLIN10 for 10% off any purchase. (Not limited to your first purchase!!)
You can also take these drops by putting a dropperful under your tongue and holding it there for a minute while it absorbs. I’ve tried this method but honestly I prefer to add them into my coffee.
All of these mushroom tinctures are meant to be cycled: five days on, two days off. For me this is easiest to remember by simply using them on weekdays and not on weekends.
Let me know if you try any of these tinctures out! Or if you are also in love with mushrooms and want to chat about them!
xoxo,
J
