Overall, this was a pretty good month for my reading. I took a trip to see my family in California so those long flights were key for me hitting my goals. Not to mention sitting in the sun in my parent's backyard reading. Unfortunately I did not hit my goal of finishing a nonfiction book this month--I'm still slugging along with my current pick. Snack Plate Meals
I don't know about where you're reading this from, but here in Washington, DC it's hot as hell. And when it's this hot I don't want to cook. Turning on the oven or the stove is pretty much the last thing I want to do, but I also want to eat yummy good foods. Enter the snack plate. Vacation Checklist
Maybe this is a symptom of me being extremely Type A, but whenever I go on vacation I make a mental (and sometimes physical) checklist of things that I want to do.
